Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016): Full Specifications

Samsung positioned the Galaxy J3 (2016) as an entry level Android handset with a compact footprint and a stronger screen than many basic models of its time. Its 5 inch HD Super AMOLED display gives the phone one of its most appealing traits, with richer contrast than a typical budget LCD, while the light 138 g body and slim 7.9 mm profile keep it easy to carry. The hardware is modest, pairing a quad core processor with 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage, but there is microSD expansion up to 128 GB for extra room. An 8 MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash handles everyday photos, and the 5 MP front camera is more capable than many similarly priced phones from the same period. Video capture is limited to 720p at 30 fps, which fits the phone’s basic positioning. Samsung also gave it practical essentials such as 4G LTE, Wi Fi b/g/n on 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and GLONASS, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a removable 2600 mAh battery. Altogether, it is a straightforward small-format Galaxy model built around portability, battery swapping, and simple day to day tasks.
