Galaxy A57: Full Specifications

Samsung gives the Galaxy A57 a noticeably more polished feel than many mid-range phones. Its 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED+ display runs at up to 120 Hz and uses Vision Booster for better visibility outdoors, while the slim 6.9 mm body keeps the large format relatively easy to handle. The finish is glossy, the rear camera layout is clean, and the phone adds practical durability with IP68 water and dust resistance plus Gorilla Glass Victus+. At 161.5 x 76.8 x 6.9 mm and 179 g, it stays fairly light for a device with a large screen and a 5,000 mAh battery. Performance is built around Samsung’s Exynos 1680 chip, paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage, with no microSD expansion listed for this model. The triple rear camera setup combines a 50 MP main sensor with OIS, a 12 MP ultra wide and a 5 MP macro camera, while the 12 MP front camera supports Super HDR for brighter selfie video. Nightography, object removal and other AI-assisted editing tools are part of the experience, and video capture goes up to 4K at 30 fps. The phone also supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, nano-SIM plus eSIM, and ships with Android 16 and One UI 8.5, backed by long-term software support.

Pros

  • Display: A stunning 120Hz Super AMOLED screen providing vibrant colors and perfect smoothness.
  • Battery Life: A very reliable battery that easily lasts well over a full day of usage.
  • Updates: Exemplary software support with several years of guaranteed Android updates.

Cons

  • Charging Speed: Charging is still capped at 25W, which is slow compared to Chinese competitors.
  • Design: A fairly classic and repetitive look that barely evolves from previous models.
  • Performance: The processor may struggle with the most demanding 3D games.
