TCL K70 NXTPAPER: Full Specifications

Built around TCL’s paper-like screen approach, the TCL K70 NXTPAPER stands apart from typical mid-range phones with a 6.75-inch HD+ display that combines a 120Hz refresh rate with a matte, low-glare presentation aimed at more comfortable long sessions of reading, browsing, and video. A dedicated NXTPAPER key adds quick access to viewing modes designed to reduce distractions and help stretch battery life, while the phone still keeps the everyday features expected from a modern 5G model. It runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, plus microSD expansion up to 2TB, giving it a practical balance for messaging, streaming, and routine multitasking. The dual rear camera setup pairs a 50MP main camera with a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and the 32MP front camera handles selfies and 1080p video capture. TCL also includes dual speakers with DTS 3D Boom Sound, a 5200mAh battery with 33W fast charging, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and both side fingerprint unlocking and face unlock. Its single nano-SIM tray is complemented by eSIM support depending on the carrier, and the body remains fairly slim at 8.31mm with IP64 water and dust resistance.

Pros

  • Unique matte display that is highly eye-friendly and glare-free.
  • Dedicated hardware switch to instantly toggle e-paper mode.
  • Great battery life paired with efficient 33W fast charging.

Cons

  • Less ideal for competitive gaming than traditional glossy screens.
  • Maximum brightness can feel slightly lower under direct sunlight.
  • Form factor is a bit bulkier due to the layered screen tech.
