One 5g Ace: Full Specifications

The One 5g Ace is a large 5G-ready Android phone built around a 6.7-inch Max Vision Full HD+ display with HDR10 support, giving it a roomy format for streaming, browsing and games. Its Snapdragon 750G platform delivers solid everyday performance, and the model was offered with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage depending on version, with microSD expansion up to 1TB for extra media and files. Photography is handled by a triple rear camera setup that combines a 48MP main sensor with an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro lens, while the 16MP front camera covers selfies and video calls. Motorola also gave it a 5,000 mAh battery designed for long endurance, along with USB-C charging. The hardware includes a rear fingerprint sensor, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a tray that supports a nano SIM alongside a microSD card. At 166.1 x 76.1 x 9.9 mm and 212 g, it is clearly on the bigger and heavier side, but that size helps accommodate the expansive screen and battery.

Pros

  • Price: For a phone with 5G capabilities, the One 5G Ace is offered at a fairly reasonable price (Approx. $600 CAD)
  • Battery: The device's 5000 mAh battery should last up to a day or two without needing a charge.

Cons

  • Additional cameras: The ultrawide and macro lenses could do more, but are held back by their limited resolution.
  • Brightness: Even with the brightness turned all the way up, it was hard to see the screen under certain lighting outside.
