iPhone 5C 8Gb: Full Specifications

Apple designed the iPhone 5C 8Gb as a smaller, lively-looking handset that keeps the essentials of the iPhone experience in a bright plastic shell rather than a metal body. It uses a 4-inch Retina display with 1136 x 640 resolution, giving it a sharp, compact screen size that suits one-handed use and older-style app layouts. Inside is Apple’s A6 chip with 1 GB of RAM, a combination intended for basic communication, web browsing, media playback and lighter app use. This version is distinguished by its 8 GB of internal storage, so it sits below the larger-capacity iPhone 5c models. The rear iSight camera captures 8-megapixel photos and records 1080p video, while the front FaceTime camera supports 720p video. Apple lists a built-in rechargeable battery rated for up to 10 hours of 3G talk time, up to 10 hours of LTE or Wi-Fi internet use and up to 40 hours of audio playback. The phone supports Nano-SIM, LTE depending on model, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Apple’s Lightning connector. At 124.4 x 59.2 x 8.97 mm and 132 g, it remains notably compact and easy to carry.
