Galaxy Z Fold 5: New & Refurbished Prices in Canada

Samsung

Several changes are in store for the next Z Fold 5, starting with the design. We'll be saying goodbye to the screen-holding bar, which should disappear to offer a more fluid look, while the screen when folded should create a loop to minimize branding. Its processor should evolve, and we'll find the Snapdragon 8 Gen already in place on the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Otherwise, Samsung has already announced that the Fold Z5 will be IP68 certified, so it will be able to withstand dust and water immersion for 30 minutes. On the other hand, the slot for the S Pen should disappear, so that the space gained can be used to produce a Fold 5 that is thinner than the model it replaces. Finally, we're talking about a 100 Mpix photo sensor.

Galaxy Z Fold 5: Full Specifications

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 5 is a premium foldable built for people who want a phone and small tablet in one device. Closed, it uses a 6.2-inch cover display for everyday tasks; opened, it expands to a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate that gives apps, video and multitasking much more room. The redesigned Flex Hinge lets the phone fold flat, while the Armour Aluminum frame, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the exterior and IPX8 water resistance help it feel more substantial than many niche foldables. Performance is led by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy with 12 GB of RAM, and storage ranges from 256 GB to 1 TB depending on version. The rear camera system combines a 50 MP main camera with 12 MP ultrawide and 10 MP telephoto lenses, supported by 3x optical zoom and up to 8K video recording, while the device also includes a 10 MP cover selfie camera and a 4 MP under-display camera inside. A 4,400 mAh dual battery supports 25 W wired charging, wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C, UWB and SIM plus eSIM support round out a highly connected book-style foldable that weighs 253 g.
