Galaxy A37: Full Specifications

Samsung positions the Galaxy A37 as a polished all-rounder, and its design helps it stand out right away. The phone keeps a slim 7.4 mm profile while offering a large 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, giving it a smooth and spacious feel for video, browsing, and general app use. Its camera system centres on a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, joined by an 8MP ultra-wide and a 5MP macro camera, while the 12MP front camera supports sharp selfies and Super HDR video. Samsung also highlights improved low-light shooting and portrait processing, which fits the A37’s everyday photography focus. The battery is rated at 5000 mAh and supports wired charging up to 45W, with Samsung also claiming up to two days of typical use. Connectivity is modern and flexible, with 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C, and dual-SIM options that can include nano-SIM and eSIM configurations. At 196 g, the Galaxy A37 remains manageable for a larger phone, and its IP68 rating adds welcome durability for day-to-day use.

Pros

  • Superior Durability: Features IP68 water and dust resistance and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both front and back, a rarity for this price segment.
  • Long-Term Support: Samsung guarantees 6 years of OS and security updates, ensuring the phone remains modern and secure until 2032.
  • Vibrant Display: The 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ screen offers high brightness (1900 nits) and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for great outdoor visibility.

Cons

  • No Wireless Charging: Unlike some of its direct competitors, the A37 still lacks support for wireless charging.
  • Average Performance: The Exynos 1480 chipset is reliable for daily tasks but lags behind performance-focused rivals in heavy gaming.
  • No Charger in Box: While it supports 45W fast charging, the necessary power adapter must be purchased separately.
