was a Comwave customer from 2020 to 2026 and completed two contract cycles. For approximately six years I paid my bills on time and had no payment problems. After all those years, the way I have been treated when leaving has completely changed my opinion of this company. My Comwave service was cancelled and I had already switched to another provider before July 20, 2026. My July 20 invoice shows that my previous $177.23 balance was PAID IN FULL, leaving a $0.00 balance forward. Despite my service having ended, Comwave then generated another $177.23 charge for July 20 to August 19. To make matters worse, I was told I had to PAY OUT OF MY OWN POCKET to return THEIR equipment. I followed their instructions. Canada Post received the equipment July 21 and confirmed delivery July 23 at 8:49 a.m. I have the tracking and proof of delivery. You would think that would be the end of it. IT WASN'T. On August 20, Comwave sent me ANOTHER invoice. The invoice itself identifies my account as CANCELLED, yet they carried forward the disputed $177.23 and added another $3.14 late-payment charge. I have now had to submit a formal complaint just to get this dealt with. Six years of being a reliable paying customer. Two contract cycles. Service cancelled. New provider already in place. Very poor service, slow connections, exorbitant charges. Numerous abuses, sometimes leaving you on hold for hours without a response. This service is not recommended and should be avoided at all costs. A class action lawsuit is necessary.
